Fox News highlighted the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plan to stop Asian carp at the Brandon Road Lock and Dam and the damage they cause to fisheries.
The National Wildlife Federation’s Drew YoungeDyke was quoted:
“The impact to the $7 billion Great Lakes sport-fishery would be even more extensive than just the big lakes…” said Drew YoungeDyke with the National Wildlife Federation,
“because inland rivers and lakes connected to the Great Lakes would also be adversely affected.”
